Driving Instructor Training in Calgary

When you come to People Driving of Canada, you have decided that you want to drive. 

There are plenty of Driving Schools that will say that they do the same things People Driving does. Some of them actually try. Learning to drive by following the DriveTest route isn't learning to drive. It's learning to pass a test. The difference is remarkable. 

A properly trained driver is able to drive anywhere at any time and have the skills to avoid situations that would cause harm to them and others. A poorly trained driver can drive around the road test route all day, and be a hazard anywhere else. Getting you ready to pass a Road Test is a goal of our course, but it's not the only goal. It's also not anywhere near as important as avoiding crashes. What we do is different. 

Very little of your in car time will be spent following a Road Test route, in fact you might not see a Road Test route at all. Instead, you will be learning about safe smooth turns, braking and acceleration, risk perception. You'll learn how to get out of the way, safely, of rear crashes, how to get back on the paved part of the road if you slip off into the gravel, escape a head on collision. You will learn to do this in a car, not on a blackboard, not on a game console. Our driving instructor training in Calgary do this training every day. In our classroom, you won't be see old school films. Our content is fresh, and our teachers are re certified every year with retraining that keeps their teaching amongest the best in the industry. We know how to teach, it's what we do, all the time. 

Yes the People Driving course is going to earn you a Graduated License time reduction, because we are an MTO approved BDE driving school. BDE graduates with a Drivers Licence History may be eligible for an insurance discount. Our course contains all of the things that you would expect, taught exceptionally well.

The Cognitive Assessment, provided by CogniFit, measures driving related cognitive abilities. The assessment is used to tailor the in car training for the best learning outcome. Our e-Learning is not a talking book, it's not a video. It's an interactive virtual journey across Canada, where along the way you learn about fuel economy, roundabouts, dashboard symbols, and take a test, all from the comfort of your computer.
